RITA MATTHEWS, CEO has been with the Bob Hanscom Mortgage Agency since 2001. She took over the company from her brother Bob in 2007 and has carried on the Agency's tradition of building positive relationships with lenders and the most important people - our clients. The Bob Hanscom Mortgage Agency continues to be a reputable and respected mortgage agency in Alberta and BC.

Prior to joining the world of finance, Rita was a Municipal Planner for Municipalities throughout Alberta. Rita has lived in Alberta all her life - Drayton Valley, Leduc, and currently residing in Edmonton. She and her supportive husband, Gary are proud parents of 5 grown children. She enjoys working with people and sincerely cares about all whom she comes in contact.

Rita is licensed to place mortgages in both Alberta and BC. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals. As an AMP designate, she has achieved the highest accreditation for mortgage professionals in Canada.
